Meagan Friedman is the founder and publisher of Quills and Cosmos Press, an independent science fiction and fantasy publishing house dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices. With a focus on stories by women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized creators, her work centers on the belief that everyone deserves to see themselves as the hero of the story.She holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in Publishing from Western Colorado University and runs a developmental editing business, Ink & Industry, where she specializes in speculative fiction. Through her editorial work, she helps authors strengthen narrative structure, character arcs, and thematic depth.Meagan is passionate about building inclusive literary spaces, supporting emerging authors, and bringing compelling, character-driven stories to readers.
