Pikes Peak Writers Conference 2026

I am a retired helicopter pilot, I began flying in the Army and flew gunships in Vietnam. I continued my flying career for the next 40 years
As far as writing, it has always been one of my passions, and I have one published novel, Jacksons Mountain, a Vietnam fiction.
I have completed 6 novels. My Stories are varied and reflect what I like to read; from mild romance to historical fiction to horror and psychological suspense. Because of my background, many, but not all of my stories contain aviation references. I'm not sure what this says about me, but many of my books and short stories have a strong female protagonist. I guess this is what they mean by getting in touch with your feminine side.
I love to write and it is always a thrill when people tell me how much they enjoy my stories.
